ACTIVITY TABLE ZONE
SWAP & SHARE
Part of zine community ethos involves sharing, trading, and swapping. MZF encourages this by having a swap table set up. Stop by to leave a zine and take a zine in order to share with others.
This is *not* a "free zine" table and and we ask the community to respect this. In order to take a zine, you need to leave one in its place.
Suggested zine value of $1 to $5 only, to help keep things feelin' fair :)

WORKSHOP:
SEWN ZINE BINDINGS
Zines can be bound in many ways, from just simple folds, to the classic double-staple! This workshop focuses on hand sewing techniques with needle and thread.
MPL's very own Maria Burke will teach two styles: a traditional pamphlet stitch that's great for half-folded zines, and a stab-binding style that works for stacks of pages including oddball shapes and sizes. Space is limited!
